Tickly Tillandsia

Commonly known as the Blue Flowered Torch this has got to be one of the wackiest plants around. Because the large pink part isn’t the flower, it’s a bract, it’s the purple florets that are the real flowers! While the florets don’t last for long the bract does and because these plants are relatively low maintenance – fortnightly feed and a regular misting – are perfect for busy parents who have other things on their mind!
